View bills

You can display and search your account payable bills.

1. Click on the Select tool icon

2. Choose Pay bills on the tools list

3. Filter bills using the Bill  Status dropdown

4. The bills list is identical to bills found in your Xero organization. The amount corresponds to the total, tax inclusive. You can pay a specific bill by clicking on the Pay button.

5. You can also select multiple bills using the check box on the left, and pay those invoices by clicking on the Pay selected bills button.

Setup payment data

The Pay your bills page allows you to enter payer and payee banking details, required to generate a payment file for your bank.

1. Your bank accounts are automatically fetched from Xero and displayed in the list Select a bank account in Xero

2. When you select a Xero account from which you want to pay, the application automatically reads the IBAN and BIC of that account to fill in the fields. You can set up this data in Xero as explained here.

3. You can change the payer information in Confirm bank account IBAN and Confirm bank account BIC.

4. You also need to specify the Swiss bank where you will make the payment in the field Select bank name

5. The list of bills to pay allows you to update the payee information. The application automatically reads the IBAN and BIC of the bill's contact (supplier) as well as the bill reference, amount, and currency from Xero. You can set up this data in Xero as explained here.

6. You can change the payee information in Contact Name, Contact IBAN, and Contact BIC fields for each bill.

7. You can change the bill information in the QR Reference, Amount, and Currency fields for each bill.

Creating payment files

The data is used to create a valid bank payment order which you can export for your bank.

1. Click on the button Create a payment file to upload to your bank.

2. The solution checks for missing information such as IBAN, BIC, reference, amount, currency, etc.

3. The solution generates a valid payment file using the norm ISO 20022 as required by your bank.

4. The payment files follow compliance and security guidelines specified by payment standards as explained here.

5. You can download and store the generated payment file, named bank_payment_order_pain_0001_XYZ.xml, where XYZ is the BIC of your bank.

6. Use E-Banking to upload your payment file, and settle and manage your payments.
